Viviana Collazo first joined Harrington & Associates in 2005. Her previous experience includes assignments as Director of Compensation with a world leader in the timeshare industry where her responsibilities encompassed the development and management of compensation programs covering 3,000 employees in seven states. Viviana also worked for a global government services provider, expanding her knowledge further in Global Compensation. In this capacity, she managed the compensation of expatriates serving in Latin America countries, including Colombia, Peru, Guatemala and Bolivia. Additionally, she focused her career in Compensation by joining Towers Watson, a top global management consulting firm, as a Compensation Specialist in the Latin America Survey Unit. During her employment with Towers Perrin, Viviana was involved with all the phases of conducting compensation surveys in different Latin American countries including Venezuela, Colombia, Peru and Puerto Rico, working with clients including Microsoft, IBM, PeopleSoft, Motorola and other leaders in the High Tech and Pharmaceutical industries.
Ms. Collazo graduated Cum Laude from Florida Institute of Technology in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, where she attended on a four year Academic Achievement Scholarship. During her internship with Harris Corporation at the Training & Development Center, she assisted in projects involving the development and implementation of internal needs analysis systems and training programs
Raised in Puerto Rico, Ms. Collazo has traveled extensively abroad. This combined with her multi-lingual skills adds to the broad perspective on compensation matters that HAI provides its clients. Viviana has been awarded the designation of Certified Compensation Professional from WorldatWork and Professional in Human Resources from The Society for Human Resource Management.
