Viviana Collazo joined Harrington & Associates in 2005 after relocating to Melbourne Florida. Ms. Collazo previously served as Director of Compensation with CFI & Westgate Resorts, a world leader in the timeshare industry, where her responsibilities encompassed the development and management of compensation programs covering 3,000 employees in seven states.
Following college, Viviana focused her career in Compensation by joining Towers Perrin, a top global management consulting firm, as a Compensation Specialist in the Latin America Survey Unit. During her employment with Towers Perrin, Viviana was involved with all the phases of conducting compensation surveys in different Latin American countries including Venezuela, Colombia, Peru and Puerto Rico, working with clients including Microsoft, IBM, PeopleSoft, Motorola and other leaders in the High Tech and Pharmaceutical industries.
Ms. Collazo graduated Cum Laude from Florida Institute of Technology in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, where she attended on a four year Academic Achievement Scholarship. During the course of her last year of college, she did her internship at the Training & Development Center at Harris Corporation. During her internship, she assisted in projects such as developing and implementing internal training programs and needs analysis assessments.
Raised in Puerto Rico, Ms. Collazo has traveled extensively abroad. This combined with her multi-lingual skills adds to the broad perspective on compensation matters that HAI provides its clients. Viviana maintains her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) designation from The Society for Human Resource Management and Certified Compensation Professional designation from WorldatWork, and is a member of the Central Florida Compensation & Benefits Association.
